this EP is an abstract meditation on the current state of my life and career, an exercise in reawakening familiar aspects of my creative process that have felt stagnant recently.

I named it Never Better because it’s one of those phrases that we’ve agreed means “never been better” but you could also use it to imply that things will never be better than they are right now and I like that because nothing in life is linear and each moment is its own peak.

the other two songs are named for the same reason. Forever Home is a common phrase that I just don’t agree with but taken another way could mean that we are always home in ourselves. Better Yet is related to the title track musically but could also be a question like; better yet?
